Coffee:
Pros and Cons

Dear Client, Our newsletter is attached in PDF format. Please read it and pass it on!

Most working people tend to drink too much coffee. A hot cup in the morning, another one at lunchtime, and yet another one while chatting with coworkers might sound like a routine day at the office, but drinking too much coffee can have its downside. Following such a routine only takes a few weeks to develop into an unhealthy habit. Here is a quick rundown of all the pros and cons associated with drinking too much coffee.

Caffine in coffee stimulates the adrenal glands and raises stress levels for up to 18 hours causing insomnia in some people. Coffee is also known to reduce production of DHEA and other anti-aging hormones, making you age faster. Not to mention the stained teeth, bad breath and after taste that often follows a regular coffee drinking routine.

Despite the negatives, let's face it; every now and then we need a jolt of energy.

Despite all its cons, coffee is still the most popular "upper" on the market. Whether burning the midnight oil at work or cramming for final exams, coffee has helped people stay alert on numerous occasions. In moderation, coffee can be quite a useful tool.

Like anything, coffee is not bad unless you abuse it. It has its negative aspects, but offers enough good points to make it a worthwhile drink.

Our newletter this week covers the pros and cons of coffee. We encourage you to print out our clinic newsletter and pass it on to friends, family and co-workers. Help us make a profound difference in their lives and create a healthier world!

Chiropracticaly yours,
